South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2022: Bumper vacancy has come out for recruitment to the posts of Apprentice in South Eastern Railway. The total number of posts of apprentice is 1785. For this, South Eastern Railway has invited applications from eligible candidates. The special thing is that 10th pass youth with 50 percent marks can also get a job in this. Eligible candidates can apply for the Apprentice posts by visiting the official site of RRC SER at rrcser.co.in. The application process is on and the last date is February 2, 2023.
Essential Qualification
Candidates desirous of working on the posts of apprentices of South Eastern Railway must have a degree of Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system) from a recognized board. Candidate must have passed 10th with minimum 50% marks (excluding additional subjects). Apart from this, the candidate must have ITI pass certificate by NCVT in the relevant trade.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the merit list (trade-wise) prepared by the South Eastern Railway in respect of all the candidates who have applied against the notification in the respective trades. Merit list will be prepared in each trade on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in matriculation with minimum 50% marks. The percentage of matriculation will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in all the subjects. Not on the basis of marks in any subject or group of subjects.
Application fee
Candidates will have to pay Rs.100 as application fee online through ‘payment gateway’ at the time of filling the online application form. Payment can be made using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking/ UPI/ E-Wallets.
